Jim Wilkerson joins Digital Commercial Systems to Help Arizona Business Owners and Property Managers Strengthen their Physical Security

PHOENIX, Ariz. — May 1, 2018 — Jim Wilkerson joins Digital Commercial Systems to drive business development efforts for Digital’s Physical Security Practice. Digital is known locally for commercial, multifamily and residential automation systems including: security, video, audio, shades and controller technologies. The Physical Security Practice focuses on the design and implementation of security systems and monitoring solutions for Intelligent Video Surveillance and Access Control Solutions.

Jim is a seasoned executive from the financial services industry and a serial entrepreneur in the investment management, financial planning, personal finance and college savings sectors. He was the founder of Arizona Wealth Management, The Personal Finance Education Center and Plan for College Now. He retired from the financial services industry in 2014 and mentored small business owners as a volunteer with Greater Phoenix SCORE. Jim is actively involved in Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona and has served on the boards for Silent Witness and The Bridge to Hope—both non-profits serving the local Phoenix community.

Jim is a third generation Phoenix native and a graduate of Northern Arizona University (NAU) with a B.S. in Mathematics. At NAU, he was a two-time Big Sky Conference champion in track and field; and held the pole vault record for 13 years. Jim has worked as a volunteer track coach at both Brophy Prep and Arcadia High School.
